Last Tuesday Grand Bend Rotarians visited Christopher Wallis, Lakeview Studios just north of Grand Bend.

Christopher Wallis is probably Canada’s pre-eminent stained glass artist. Over the past 35 years, Christopher has designed, produced and supervised the installation of numerous stained glass windows in cathedrals and churches from coast to coast, as well as many iconic buildings such as Ottawa’s Rideau Hall. Following a short presentation, Rotarians, partners and guests were able to view an exhibition of Christopher’s designs, drawings and samples of his work from throughout his distinguished career, ask questions and meet his wife, Geri Binks, who is Christopher’s collaborator and a renowned artist in her own right.
